Training Workshop for Managers of Ecotourism Accommodations in Semnan Province to Be Held
The head of the Tourism Deputy of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Semnan Province said today, February 14th: "The training workshop for managers of ecotourism accommodations in Semnan Province will be held in the tourism target village of Qaleh Bala."
According to Miras Arya, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Semnan Province, Maryam Soleimaniyan added: "This training workshop, with the aim of realizing the resistance economy and empowering ecotourism accommodations to welcome tourists, considering the approach of Nowruz, will be held from February 16th to 17th."
She pointed out the existence of 30 ecotourism accommodations in Semnan Province and said: "All managers of these accommodations will participate in this training course, which is being held for the first time in Semnan Province."
Soleimaniyan added: "Familiarity with the principles and concepts of sustainable tourism, ecotourism and nature tourism, familiarity with the environmental areas related to ecotourism accommodations, presentation of examples of accommodations from other regions and using the experience of veteran managers in establishing ecotourism accommodations, familiarity with customs and heritage, public speaking, etc., are among the programs of this two-day training workshop."
Soleimaniyan stated that three rural women's cooperatives will also participate in this training workshop, saying: "The curriculum of this 30-hour training workshop will be taught by experienced national and provincial professors."
She expressed hope that: "Holding this training course will be effective in empowering the rural economy, preventing the migration of villagers to cities, and giving identity to the villagers."
The head of the Tourism Deputy of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Semnan Province said: "10 new ecotourism accommodations are also in the process of receiving permits from this department, and the permits for these accommodations will be issued in environmental areas."
Qaleh Bala is a beautiful, terraced village located 140 kilometers southeast of Shahroud and 24 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand.
Ecotourism accommodations in this village have been significantly welcomed by tourists, especially foreign tourists, in recent years and at different times of the year.
