The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, referring to the role of women in preserving cultural identity and local sustainable development, added: These hardworking women, by preparing straw-mud plaster and actively participating throughout the village, reconstructed a part of the old sabats of Qaleh Bala and brought a new look to the historical alleys of the village.
He stated: This voluntary movement is a symbol of social solidarity and the deep affection of the residents for their birthplace, and it demonstrates the prominent role of women in preserving cultural heritage.
Razavian emphasized: The efforts of the people of Qaleh Bala, especially the women, are aimed at realizing the long-held aspiration of the residents for the global registration of this village, an aspiration for which everyone from child to adult strives with passion and enthusiasm.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, stating that the historical village of Qaleh Bala is located 21 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand and east of Shahroud County, explained: Qaleh Bala is situated in a foothill region, and its houses utilize stepped architecture. The proximity of the Turan Protected Area to the village, the preservation of houses and historical texture, the abundance of ecotourism accommodations, etc., have transformed this village into a tourist destination for Iranian and foreign travelers.
