According to Mirath Arya, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: On Sunday, November 23, 2025, the first meeting of the Strategic Council for the global registration of Qaleh Bala, a tourism target village, was held, chaired by the Deputy Coordinator of Urban Development Affairs of the Semnan Governorate, and with the presence of the Head of the Office for Rural Affairs and Councils of the Governorate, the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, and a group of managers and representatives of the relevant executive bodies, the village headman, and members of the Qaleh Bala village council in the meeting hall of the Urban Development Deputy of Semnan Governorate.
The Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County added: During this meeting, the necessity of integration and acceleration in the process of global registration of the village was emphasized, and the resolutions of the previous meeting were reviewed and followed up to examine the performance of the bodies and to identify the reasons for delay, if any.
He stated: Programs were proposed for completing the file and documentation, and tasks were divided to remove obstacles and problems and provide the necessary infrastructure.
Razavian emphasized: The goal of global registration is not merely to obtain an international title, but to create sustainable infrastructure, attract tourists, and boost the village's economy within the framework of preserving its historical and indigenous texture.
The Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County stated: It was decided that the meetings of the Strategic Council would be held regularly and progress reports would be submitted to the Governorate.
He said: In this meeting, the duties of each body were clearly defined, and in case of negligence, the relevant body will be obliged to respond.
Razavian explained: All constructions and renovations must be carried out based on successful global examples and within the framework of international standards to preserve the historical authenticity and cultural identity of Qaleh Bala.
The Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County stated: The General Department of Cultural Heritage of the province has the main responsibility for preparing and completing the file for the global registration of Qaleh Bala, and this process will be continuously pursued in cooperation with other bodies.
He stated: At the end of the meeting, the decrees of the members of the provincial committee of the Strategic Council for the global registration of Qaleh Bala, a tourism target village, were presented to the members, signed by the Governor.
