According to Mirath-Aria, Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: The first local "Mothers and Children" tourism festival will be held on the occasion of Tourism Week on Thursday, October 2, 2025, starting at 10 AM in the Nowruzgah of Qaleh Bala village, in front of the village council office. The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County, referring to the diverse programs of this event, added: Competitions of indigenous and local games for mothers and children, kite flying competition, painting competition with the theme "Tourism in My Village", children's filmmaking competition, and prize awards are among the sections of the festival. He stated: Holding this festival, in addition to creating social enthusiasm and vitality, will be an opportunity to introduce the indigenous culture and tourism capacities of the target village of Qaleh Bala and strengthen the role of families in sustainable tourism development. Razavian stated: Qaleh Bala village is located in a foothill region and adjacent to the Turan Protected Area, and with its terraced houses and ecotourism accommodations, it is known as a unique example of indigenous architecture and an important destination in the east of Shahroud County.
