According to Mirath Arya, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said: The 12th Tourism Festival of Traveling to the Bustard's Habitat was held on Thursday and Friday, November 9 and 10, this year, coinciding with the golden season of autumn and the suitable time for birdwatching in the target tourism village of Qaleh Bala, Biarjomand district.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: Visiting the terraced texture of the target tourism village of Qaleh Bala, holding an exhibition of handicrafts and souvenirs, and performing local music and ritual ceremonies were among the programs of this festival.
Nazari said: Holding specialized training classes in ornithology, zoology, herpetology, and specialized sky observation were other programs of the 12th Tourism Festival of Traveling to the Bustard's Habitat.
He added: This festival was held with the aim of boosting the indigenous and local economy, branding tourism, creating employment with an approach to utilizing ecotourism capacities, and introducing the social and cultural identity of the region.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County said: The 12th Tourism Festival of Traveling to the Bustard's Habitat was held in cooperation with the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, the Biarjomand District Governorate, the Turan National Park Department, the Islamic Council and the village administration of the target tourism village of Qaleh Bala, the Law Enforcement Force, the Malek Ashtar Resistance Base, and ecotourism accommodations.
The target tourism village of Qaleh Bala is located adjacent to the Turan Biosphere Reserve tourism نمونه region. This region is located in the southeast and at a distance of 5 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand.
