According to Mirath Aria, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said on Sunday, November 5, 2023: The 12th Tourism Festival of Travel to the Bustard's Habitat will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 9 and 10, this year, coinciding with the golden season of autumn and the suitable time for birdwatching in the tourism target village of Qaleh Bala, in the Biyardjmand district.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: Visiting the terraced architecture of the tourism target village of Qaleh Bala, holding an exhibition of handicrafts and souvenirs, and performing local music and ritual ceremonies, etc., are among the programs of this festival.
Nazari said: Holding specialized training classes in ornithology, zoology, and herpetology, and specialized sky observation are among the other programs of the 12th Tourism Festival of Travel to the Bustard's Habitat.
He stated: This festival is held with the aim of boosting the local economy, branding tourism, creating employment with an approach to using ecotourism capacities, and introducing the social and cultural identity of the region.
