
The 11th Tourism Festival of Traveling to the Bustard's Habitat to be Held in the Byarjomand District of Shahroud
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County announced the holding of the 11th Tourism Festival of Traveling to the Bustard's Habitat in the Byarjomand District of Shahroud.
According to Mirath-Aria, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said on Monday, October 24, 2022: "The tourism event of traveling to the bustard's habitat will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 5 and 6, coinciding with the golden season of autumn and the suitable time for birdwatching in the target tourism village of Qaleh Bala in the Byarjomand district."
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: "Visiting the terraced architecture of the target tourism village of Qaleh Bala, the historical bathhouse of Qaleh Bala, and the exquisite handicrafts of the region's artistic women, along with various souvenirs, are among the attractions for enthusiasts to attend this tourism event."
Nazari said: "Holding specialized educational classes on ornithology, zoology, and herpetology, as well as specialized sky observation, are among the other programs of this festival."
Shahroud County has one city, eight exemplary tourism regions, and eight target tourism villages. Of these, two exemplary tourism regions, the Biosphere Reserve of Turan and Rezaabad, and three target tourism villages, Qaleh Bala, Rezaabad, and Zamanabad, are located in the Byarjomand district.
The tourism event of traveling to the bustard's habitat is held in cooperation with the Byarjomand District Governorate, the Turan National Park Administration, the Islamic Council and the Village Council of the target tourism village of Qaleh Bala, the Law Enforcement Force, and the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County.
