According to the reporter of Miras Arya, Jalal Tajik announced: Semnan Province, on the verge of hosting the second national gathering of ecotourism in Iran, is preparing itself to be a worthy host for this important cultural and tourism event, which will be held with the presence of high-ranking national officials and ecotourism activists, and serves as an occasion to renew allegiance with nature, culture, and the rich history of Iran.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province added: This gathering, which will be held from May 19 to May 21, 2026, on the occasion of May 21, the National Ecotourism Day, is a valuable opportunity for the convergence of activists, experts, and officials in this field from across the country.

Tajik explained: This ceremony will be accompanied by various cultural and artistic programs, and a visit to the historical complex of Bastam, the shrine of the renowned mystic Bayazid Bastami, and the exemplary tourism city of Bastam will add a taste of history and spirituality to this day.
