According to Miras Arya, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said: With the aim of participation and cultural development to obtain the necessary indicators for villages nominated for global registration, in the second meeting for the global registration of Qaleh Bala tourist village, held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, the problems and shortcomings of the global registration of Qaleh Bala village were discussed, and decisions were made to resolve them.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, referring to the fact that Qaleh Bala tourist village is located southeast of Shahroud County, said: This village has special and numerous tourism capacities, and it is necessary to remove the obstacles to its global registration through the actions of officials and the efforts of the local people.
He added: Qaleh Bala is located in a foothill region, and its houses use stepped architecture. The proximity of the Touran Protected Area to the village, the preservation of historical houses and texture, and the abundance of ecotourism accommodations have turned this village into a tourist destination for Iranian and foreign tourists.
Nazari said: The second meeting for the global registration of Qaleh Bala tourist village was held with the presence of the Biyarjomand District Governor, the Head of the Biyarjomand District Judiciary, the Commander of the Regional Basij, the Deputy of the Housing Foundation, the Village Headman, and the members of the Islamic Council of Qaleh Bala tourist village.
The historical village of Qaleh Bala is located 15 kilometers from the city of Biyarjomand and east of Shahroud County.
