Review of Deficiencies in the Global Registration File of Qaleh Bala Village at the Shahroud Governorate

According to Mirath Aria, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: With the presence of the Director General of the Rural Office and Councils of Semnan Governorate, the Deputy Governor and Special Governor of Shahroud County, and the managers of executive agencies, a meeting was held at the Special Governorate of Shahroud County to review the obstacles to the global registration of the Qaleh Bala tourist village. The Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County added: Given that Qaleh Bala village, a part of the Biyardjmand district of Shahroud County, is on the UNESCO list of candidate villages for global tourism registration in 2027, this meeting was held with the aim of reviewing problems, deficiencies, and coordination among executive agencies. He stated: In this meeting, representatives from the departments of Cultural Heritage, Roads and Urban Development, Environmental Protection, the village council, and the Islamic council of the Qaleh Bala tourist village, while presenting a report on the actions taken, emphasized the necessity of inter-sectoral cooperation to accelerate the process of completing the global registration file. Razavian explained: Qaleh Bala tourist village, due to its unique terraced architecture and special natural location, is considered one of the important tourist destinations in Semnan Province. The Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County noted: The global registration of this village can play an effective role in the economic prosperity of the region, the development of tourism infrastructure, and the increase in the attraction of domestic and foreign tourists.
