Restoration of the Old Bathhouse in the Tourist Village of Qaleh Bala

According to the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said on Thursday, April 18, 2024: The restoration of the old bathhouse in the tourist village of Qaleh Bala has been carried out with the aim of converting it into a traditional space for hosting tourists. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: Previously, in line with the resolutions of the Tourism Development Committee and removing obstacles for the world registration of Qaleh Bala, the roof of the Qaleh Bala bathhouse has been restored and lightened. He stated that tourism is one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy, adding: The tourist village of Qaleh Bala is considered one of the main destinations for domestic and foreign tourists of the province and the country. Nazari added: The tourist village of Qaleh Bala is located in a foothill region with houses and ecotourism accommodations featuring stepped architecture, adjacent to the Turan Protected Area, at a distance of 21 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand and east of Shahroud County.
