Registration of the ancient plane tree of Qaleh Bala village in Semnan in the National Natural Heritage List

According to Mirath-Aria, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Soroush Hashemi announced this news, saying: The ancient plane tree of Qaleh Bala village, located at the beginning of the historical texture of the village and opposite the Qaleh Bala bathhouse and mosque, is estimated to be 320 to 370 years old and has been registered in the National Natural Heritage List of the country under number 1123. The head of Semnan's Cultural Heritage added: Plane trees with thick and sturdy trunks are among the broad-leaved tree species that, due to their special and unique beauty, especially in the form of leaves and the white color of the trunk, create a special splendor in the texture of different regions, and considering their high resistance in various conditions and the use of their shade in desert areas, they are of great importance. Qaleh Bala, a tourism target village, is one of the villages in Shahroud County, located 15 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand.
