According to the reporter of Miras Arya, Seyed Mostafa Fatemi said today, Saturday, May 1, during his trip to Semnan Province: The world registration file for the tourist village of Qaleh Bala is in its final stages with the cooperation of top teams composed of experienced experts, and this village is on the verge of being added to the World Heritage List.
The Director General of Domestic Tourism Development emphasized that the tourist village of Qaleh Bala is one of Iran's candidates for world registration, possessing the highest score among Iranian villages. He added that the world registration of this village not only demonstrates the high natural and cultural heritage potential of the region but also represents a unique opportunity to introduce the tourism capabilities of Semnan Province internationally.
He stated that the country's specialized and hardworking teams are finalizing the necessary documents and evidence, and expressed hope that the process of registering this village as a World Heritage site will be completed soon.
Fatemi noted that this path is the result of precise efforts and planning, undertaken with an approach to preserving the authenticity and historical-cultural identity of the region.
The Director General of Domestic Tourism Development said that with the world registration of this village, Semnan Province will be more visible in the international tourism arena than ever before, and its position on the global map of cultural and natural heritage will be solidified.

The tourist village of Qaleh Bala is located in a foothill region and utilizes terraced architecture in its houses. The proximity of the Touran Protected Area to the village, the preservation of historical houses and texture, and the abundance of ecotourism accommodations have transformed this village into a tourist destination for both Iranian and foreign travelers.
The historical village of Qaleh Bala is located 21 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand and east of Shahroud County.
