According to the reporter of Mirath Arya, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said on Monday, May 10, 2026: A specialized content production team, by visiting the historical and tourist village of Qaleh Bala, has begun the process of documenting and visually narrating the various dimensions of life in this valuable village to register and present a comprehensive, professional, and impactful image of its unique capacities.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: In this project, efforts have been made to depict the cultural, historical, environmental, and tourism capacities of Qaleh Bala in a documentary and ethnographic format.
He stated: Being among the local people and capturing the manifestations of the village's historical texture, ancient rituals, indigenous games, traditional clothing, local cuisine, the region's natural landscapes, Turan National Park, and wildlife are among the most important parts of this visual narrative.
Razavian emphasized: What is important in this plan is not merely capturing beautiful images of a village, but rather showcasing the flow of life in Qaleh Bala with an artistic, documentary, and realistic approach; a narrative that encompasses the village's terraced architecture and desert landscape to the constructive interaction of the people with nature and tourists.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, referring to the special position of Qaleh Bala in the field of rural tourism, said: This village has become one of the successful examples of sustainable and community-based tourism development in the desert belt of Iran in recent years and today, as one of the prominent villages and a candidate for global tourism, it possesses high potential for introduction at national and international levels.
He elaborated: The goal of implementing this project is to reflect the efforts and initiatives of the local community in preserving cultural heritage, honoring the indigenous lifestyle, and promoting sustainable living models; a subject that can play an important role in introducing Qaleh Bala as a successful model in rural tourism development.
Razavian noted: The visual collection prepared, after final editing, will be sent to the World Organization of Selected Tourism Villages to introduce a glimpse of the authenticity, dynamism, and beauty of Iranian rural life internationally.
