Simultaneously with the follow-up of the global registration file for Qaleh Bala village, the head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County announced the unveiling of the "Bourina" brand, considering this action an important step towards identity development, standardization, and professional introduction of the indigenous products of this tourism destination village.

According to the Public Relations of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian stated on Saturday, June 5, 2026: In the direction of commercializing and completing the value chain of local productions in the tourism destination village of Qaleh Bala, the exclusive brand "Bourina" for the indigenous products of this village was unveiled. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: The terraced and beautiful village of Qaleh Bala, which is considered one of the selected villages for registration in the list of the world's best tourism villages due to its unique architecture, pristine nature, and valuable historical texture, is witnessing a new transformation in the field of local economy and tourism branding these days. The design and introduction of the "Bourina" brand by local activists and producers is an important step towards completing the value chain of rural products. He stated: Based on this action, from now on, the products produced in this village will be offered to tourists and target markets with exclusive labels and certificates of authenticity under the brand name "Bourina". Razavian added: Comprehensive information, including the exact specifications of the products, raw materials, and the address of the production site in Qaleh Bala village, is included on these designed labels. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, explaining the goals of this branding, noted: This action will not only gain the trust of domestic and foreign tourists and guarantee the quality of the products but also play a significant role in targeted marketing and preventing the sale of unrelated or counterfeit products under the name of this historic and global village. Emphasizing the importance of international indicators in the process of global registration, he stressed: Given that Qaleh Bala village is on the path to globalization, one of the important indicators of the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) for the global registration of villages is attention to innovation, sustainable development of the local economy, and branding of indigenous products. Razavian said: The initiative to launch the "Bourina" brand shows that the local community of this village, in addition to preserving its tangible heritage and terraced architecture, is also a pioneer in economic empowerment and improving the quality of tourism services.
