According to Miras Arya, Bahman Akhlaghi said: On Thursday, September 17, 2025, the ethnographic museum of the tourism village of Qaleh Bala was inaugurated in the presence of Fatemi, Director General of Domestic Tourism Development of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, members of the National Tourism Committee, the Deputy of Development and Management, the Head of the Tourism Department of the Provincial Directorate, the Head of the Cultural Heritage Department of Shahroud County, the village headman, and members of the village Islamic council. The acting head of the Semnan Cultural Heritage Directorate added: On the sidelines of this ceremony, the intangible heritage registration plaque for "The Skill of Preparing and Cooking Dano in Qaleh Bala Village" was also unveiled, which signifies the cultural richness and the continuation of the authentic traditions of this village. He stated: Tourism is one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy, and the tourism village of Qaleh Bala, as one of the prominent destinations in Semnan province, hosts domestic and foreign tourists annually. Akhlaghi said: The opening of the ethnographic museum in this village provides a platform for introducing the local culture, customs, and traditional lifestyle of the people of the region. The acting head of the Semnan Cultural Heritage Directorate reminded: Qaleh Bala village is located in a foothill region adjacent to the Turan Protected Area, and with its terraced houses and ecotourism accommodations, it is recognized as a unique example of indigenous architecture and an important destination in the east of Shahroud County. He added: The opening of the Qaleh Bala ethnographic museum not only plays a role in introducing the intangible heritage and local culture of the village but also, as part of development and supplementary programs, holds special importance in the process of preparing the dossier for the world registration of this historic village on the UNESCO list and can contribute to enhancing the tourism status of Semnan province nationally and internationally.
