According to Miras Arya, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said on Friday, March 29, 2024: Due to the existence of obstacles for the global registration of Qaleh Bala tourist village and in line with the approvals of the Tourism Development Committee and the removal of obstacles for the global registration of Qaleh Bala village, necessary warnings and notices were given to some owners, and it was decided that the issues would be resolved as soon as possible. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: This village has special and numerous tourism capacities, and it is necessary to remove the obstacles for its global registration. He said: Qaleh Bala is located in a foothills region, and its houses are built using terraced architecture. The proximity of the Turan Protected Area to the village, the preservation of historical houses and texture, and the abundance of ecotourism accommodations have turned this village into a tourist destination for Iranian and foreign tourists. Nazari added: The historical village of Qaleh Bala is located 15 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand.
