According to the Public Relations of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said on Saturday, May 16, 2026: In line with preserving and introducing the cultural heritage and indigenous identity of the tourism target village of Qaleh Bala, the "My Gift, For Me" public campaign has been launched with the slogan "Every object a memory, every memory a part of our history."
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: Within the framework of this campaign, villagers, old families of the region, and also lovers of indigenous culture have been invited to donate or lend valuable old objects related to daily life, traditional occupations, old tools, clothing, handicrafts, and other cultural memorabilia to the Ethnographic Museum of Qaleh Bala Village.
He stated: Collecting these objects can play an important role in documenting the social and cultural history of the village and familiarize future generations with the lifestyle, customs, and traditional occupations of this region.
Razavian emphasized: To appreciate people's participation, the names of donors will be registered in the official list of museum donors, and the submitted objects will be kept in safe conditions and professionally preserved so that the memory and name of the donating families become lasting as part of the village's history and identity.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, referring to the importance of local museums in preserving cultural heritage, stated: The Qaleh Bala Ethnographic Museum can act as one of the important centers for introducing indigenous culture and rural lifestyle in the region and play an effective role in strengthening cultural tourism in this tourism target village on the path to world registration.
