Installation of Two-Dimensional Wildlife Sculptures on the Tourism Route of Qaleh Bala, Shahroud

According to a reporter from Miras Arya, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said on Monday, May 18, 2026: Given that Qaleh Bala village is known as the golden gateway to Turan National Park and has held the title of wildlife-friendly village for years, a collection of two-dimensional sculptures inspired by the prominent wildlife species of this park have been designed, manufactured, and installed on the walls along the village's tourism route. The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County added: These artworks include symbols of valuable species from Turan National Park, such as the Asiatic wild ass, the Asiatic cheetah, the Houbara bustard, the urial sheep, and the gazelle, which have been implemented with the aim of increasing public awareness regarding the importance of wildlife conservation and creating visual appeal for tourists. He pointed out the role of this project in enhancing the tourist experience in Qaleh Bala village, stating: The placement of these sculptures along the route of tourists has attracted the attention of many nature and environmental enthusiasts and has become one of the new attractions of this tourism target village. Razavian noted: The implementation of such projects, in addition to introducing the natural capacities of the region and the valuable species of Turan National Park, can play an effective role in developing sustainable tourism, increasing public awareness, and promoting a culture of nature conservation among tourists and the local community.
