The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Shahroud County added: In this workshop, experts from the Agricultural Jihad, while teaching modern methods of sericulture, pointed to the role of this traditional profession in economic prosperity and strengthening the cultural identity of the region. He stated that Qaleh Bala village is one of the prominent tourism destinations in Semnan province, and emphasized: The development of indigenous industries, including sericulture, can lay the groundwork for strengthening the local economy, sustaining rural livelihoods, and be an effective step towards the global registration of this unique village in the UNESCO list. Razavian noted: Paying attention to the cultural, natural, and economic capacities of villages, especially through the empowerment of local communities, while preserving the indigenous lifestyle, helps to achieve the goals of sustainable development and national programs in the field of tourism. The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Shahroud County concluded by expressing hope that with the continuation of such educational measures and inter-sectoral support, we will witness more effective steps towards the globalization of Qaleh Bala and its introduction as a successful model of tourism in the country.
