According to Mirath Aria, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: A handicrafts exhibition focusing on the capabilities of creative women in the Turan region and the introduction and sale of handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products will be held on December 16th and 17th in the tourist village of Qaleh Bala.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: This exhibition will be set up at the Qanat Chaleh (wellhead) of Qaleh Bala village and is a suitable opportunity to experience the living culture of the desert, get acquainted with indigenous arts, and support the handicraft products and home-based businesses of the women in this region.
He pointed out the importance of holding such events in the development of rural tourism and stated: The Qaleh Bala handicrafts exhibition, in addition to introducing the cultural and artistic capacities of the region, plays an effective role in the economic empowerment of local women and the prosperity of sustainable tourism.
Razavian stated that the historical village of Qaleh Bala has become one of the prominent tourist destinations in the province, explaining: The village's location in a foothill area, the terraced architecture of the houses, its proximity to the Turan Protected Area, the preservation of its historical texture, and the existence of numerous eco-lodges have made Qaleh Bala an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
