According to Mirath Arya, Mohammad Hassan Asefari stated in a meeting with the Director General of Cultural Heritage of the province: From the Reza Abad desert with its unique dunes, off-roading capabilities, camel riding, and desert trekking, the Chah Jam route and the Taq forests, the Shahroud Taroud route and its pristine dunes and landscapes, the world-registered Hyrcanian forests in the Abr region, the Majan waterfall, and the tourism target village of Qaleh Bala, each represents a complete opportunity in the field of tourism, handicrafts, and cultural heritage in Shahroud County, which with special attention should become an advantage.
The Special Governor of Shahroud County, referring to the diversity of tourism events in Shahroud, stated: Every week, a tourism festival is held in the villages of Shahroud County, from the felt festival to the Zaghbour festival and local rituals, which this diversity indicates the cultural richness and high potential of the region.
He considered cultural heritage as the "authentic identity" of the region's people and expressed: We have works in Shahroud that are prominent nationally and even internationally, such as the Bayazid Bastami complex, and preserving this cultural heritage is our duty.
Asefari stated: In every part of Semnan province, there are large and unique capacities in the field of cultural heritage, tourism, and handicrafts, and Shahroud has a significant share in this regard.
The Deputy Governor of Semnan emphasized: The Special Governorate of Shahroud County and the executive bodies of the county are moving in full cooperation towards the restoration of historical sites, tourism development, strengthening infrastructure, and the prosperity of handicrafts.
