First "Turan Konam Iran" Tourism Festival to be Held

According to Mirath-Aria, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: From September 17 to 19, coinciding with the National Cheetah Day, the first "Turan Konam Iran" Tourism Festival and the second ecotourism event of Shahroud county will be held. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud county added: This festival will be held with the presence of prominent national professors in the fields of Iranian cheetahs and zoology. He pointed out the diverse programs of this festival and stated: Holding educational workshops, visiting Turan National Park, the Geyvar Dezyan and Qaleh Bala tourism axis, stargazing, performing local and ritual music, setting up handicraft booths, and visiting world-registered caravanserais are among the sections of this festival. Razavian emphasized: Holding the "Turan Konam Iran" festival, in addition to introducing the tourism and natural capacities of the region, provides a suitable opportunity for the development of sustainable tourism and for tourists to become more familiar with the valuable ecosystem of the Iranian cheetah.
