According to the report by the MehrNews reporter, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: In the latest infrastructural action in the tourism target village of Qaleh Bala, a water storage pool with a capacity of 250 cubic meters has been constructed by the village council, which has been put into operation with the aim of optimal management of water resources, especially the winter storage of قنات (qanat) water. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, emphasizing the importance of this project in the process of preparing the file for the world registration of Qaleh Bala, added: This pool is not just a civil structure, but is considered a driving force for sustainable development in the village. He stated: The water supplied from this source is primarily allocated for the establishment and development of medicinal plant farms, which will play an effective role in creating sustainable employment, increasing the income of local households, and diversifying the village economy. Razavian clarified: This action is a strategic move in line with strengthening the infrastructure for world registration, developing the cultivation of medicinal plants, and enhancing sustainable tourism in the east of Semnan province. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County added: Also, a portion of these water resources has been allocated for the development of green and recreational spaces, which can significantly contribute to improving the village environment, increasing visual attractions, and enhancing the tourist experience. He expressed: This synergy between water resource management, targeted agricultural development, and strengthening tourism infrastructure is a tangible example of the sustainable development approach in rural areas. Razavian concluded by emphasizing: The implementation of such environmental and infrastructural projects is part of our comprehensive plan to upgrade the standards for the protection of natural and cultural heritage. By relying on local capacities, sustainable resource management, and community participation, we are striving to further provide the necessary grounds for solidifying the position of Qaleh Bala at the national and global levels.
