Commencement of Cultural Activities by Qaleh Bala Women on the Path to World Registration of the Village

According to Miras Arya, Seyyed Mohammad Sadegh Razavian said: The first cultural activity of the women of the tourist destination village of Qaleh Bala, focusing on the traditional ritual of 'Tal and Mahtal', was performed with the enthusiastic presence of the village women and children to strengthen the bond between the new generation and the region's cultural heritage. The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County added: In this ceremony, one of the village women narrated a story derived from ancient rituals related to water, and the children present depicted their interpretations of this story through drawing. He stated: This program is the beginning of a new approach in the world registration of Qaleh Bala, emphasizing the role of women and children as the main preservers of intangible and cultural heritage. The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Shahroud County, while stating that such activities should continue continuously and provide the ground for a more prominent presence of women in introducing the village's cultural heritage, said: It is hoped that with the continuation of such actions, we will witness more effective steps towards the global recognition of Qaleh Bala and its introduction as a successful tourism model in the country. He pointed out that the historical village of Qaleh Bala is located 15 kilometers from the city of Biarjomand and east of Shahroud County. He said: Qaleh Bala is located in a foothill region, and its houses are built using stepped architecture. The proximity of the Turan Protected Area to the village, the preservation of houses and historical texture, the abundance of ecotourism accommodations, etc., have made this village a tourist destination for Iranian and foreign travelers.
