Clean-up Campaign Held in Qaleh Bala, a Tourism Target Village

According to Miras Arya, quoting the Public Relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Morteza Nazari said: On the occasion of Nature's Day, April 2, 2024, in cooperation with the Professional Association of Accommodations in the Biyardjmand district, the managers of Qaleh Bala ecotourism accommodations, and a group of residents of Qaleh Bala, a tourism target village, a clean-up campaign was held. The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Shahroud County, emphasizing the role of public participation and their cooperation in maintaining a healthy and clean environment, said: It is hoped that this action will lead to greater attention from all members of society to the responsibility they have towards the environment. He stated: Culturalization is considered the most important strategy in environmental protection. Nazari added: Qaleh Bala is located in a foothill region, and its houses are built using terraced architecture. The proximity of the Turan Protected Area to the village, the preservation of historical houses and texture, and the abundance of ecotourism accommodations have turned this village into a tourist destination for Iranian and foreign travelers. The historical village of Qaleh Bala is located 15 kilometers from the city of Biyardjmand and east of Shahroud County.
